Are you an international student that appreciates Dutch culture or a Dutch student that is proud of their culture? Then come celebrate this beautiful country and culture together with us at the Going Dutch Stamppot Cooking Competition.
To show appreciation of this beautiful country, people, and food we have decided to arrange a Dutch evening with a Stamppot Cooking Competition.
Stamppot is a traditional Dutch dish made from a combination of potatoes mashed with one or several vegetables. The irony of the competition is that stamppot can be a very simple basic dish, but it can also be very intricate and tasty. The best dishes of the evening may win a prize!
We will provide the basic ingredients, but feel free to bring any additional ingredients to “spice” up your stamppot.
So, for a very small sign-up fee, you get drinks, all the basic ingredients to make yourself a dinner and stand the chance of winning some really cool prizes! Not to mention all the good vibes.
P.S. if you are feeling brave, wear any traditional Dutch clothing you have.
