TU Delft MOOCs Most Popular

According to recent reports published by Class Central, TU Delft MOOCs rank amongst the Top 100 Free University Courses of 2021 and the 35 Most Popular Online Courses Starting in January 2022.

Class Central is a search platform aggregating online courses from many providers, a sort of TripAdvisor for online education. In addition to course listing and learners’ reviews, it publishes Class Central's Report, which features analysis and reporting across the landscape of online learning.

Based on Class Central’s database, its list of courses that were offered for the first time ever in 2021 (around 2,900 courses) and the enrolment numbers across four different providers (Coursera, edX, FutureLearn and Swayam), for a total of 6.8 million enrolments – three MOOCs from TU Delft made it into the list of most popular free online courses launched in 2021:

Furthermore, two other MOOCs – Project MARCH: Behind the Technology of Robotic Exoskeletons, and Biomedical Equipment: Repairing and Maintaining Biomedical Devices – are ranked amongst the 35 most popular free online university courses and MOOCs starting in January 2022.

As, still according to Class Central, the MOOC ecosystem has nowadays reached 220 Million learners and 19,400 courses from around 1,000 universities – being ranked in the Top 100 is definitely something to smile about.
