The career prospects of Nanobiology graduates are excellent. The programme prepares for a career in industry, research organisations and public institutions. Graduates are able to conduct interdisciplinary research and to collaborate and communicate with researchers from related disciplines.
Graduates can find jobs in fundamental as well as applied research (R&D), for instance in life sciences, pharmaceutical companies or chemical companies. They can be a link pin between fundamental science and industry and are of high value because of their interdisciplinary background, especially for smaller companies. Furthermore they are interesting candidates for the development of nano measuring methods and manufacturing technologies.
The labour market for research and R&D has an international character. It is therefore expected that some of the students will find employment abroad.
