I currently work as an open-source software developer working with Ajay Seth on biomechanical simulation software (e.g. OpenSim). My area of interest is in research software engineering, with a particular focus on designing complete full-stack software systems for scientific end-users.
My PhD is in chemistry (see my personal site for details). Post-PhD, I pivoted into software development and data science, which is what I mostly work on now. The areas of software development I have worked in include full-stack web development (clinical auditing, Crown Informatics UK Ltd.), automation and standardization (various robotic platforms, Unilever PLC), big-data processing (Gaia Satellite Project, University of Cambridge), and genomic data compression (PetaGene Ltd.).
