Direnc Atmaca, a PhD candidate with an MSc in Space and Astronautical Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, possesses a broad background spanning electromechanical systems, space and aerial robotics, orbital mechanics, low-thrust orbit control, graph search algorithms, control barrier functions, and estimation theory.

Currently at TU Delft, Direnc's research focuses on applying Adaptive Incremental Nonlinear Dynamic Inversion (A-INDI) to enhance the performance of the Flying-V aircraft. This work builds on his academic foundation, emphasizing his commitment to advancing aerospace engineering through both theoretical exploration and practical experimentation. Additionally, he aims to contribute to the evolution of nonlinear and adaptive control systems by developing new theoretical foundations.
