Biografie
I am currently Assistant Professor at the AWEP Department, Wind Energy Section, at Delft University of Technology. I received both his MSc and PhD degrees from the University of Naples Federico II in Italy. During the PhD, I focused on non-intrusive techniques for boundary layer transition in hypersonic flows. In 2015, I joined Delft University of Technology as PostDoc in Aeroacoustics. I worked on turbulent boundary layer trailing edge noise mitigation with innovative trailing edge serrations. In July 2017, I started working as Assistant Professor. My current research interests are: airfoil self-noise mitigation with porous materials, acoustic liners, jet installation noise and installation propeller noise. I focus on the noise reduction through the physical description of noise generation mechanisms.
