Jurriaan Alexander van 't Hoff is a PhD candidate at the department of Airplane Noise and Climate Effects working on (global) climate and atmospheric modelling within the MORE & LESS (MDO and REgulations for Low-boom and Environmentally Sustainable Supersonic aviation) research project. MORE & LESS is a research project funded by the European Union with the purpose of improving scientific understanding of the environmental impact of (future) civilian supersonic aviation. The results of this research help shape new policy and regulations for this industry, primarily aiming at developing environmentally sustainable practices of supersonic flight.
