Om het duurzame potentieel van biotechnologie te volledig te benutten moeten we verder kijken dan bestaande en bewezen biotechnologische industriële processen. Wij ontwikkelen computermodellen en experimentele werkwijzen om de doorlooptijd van veelbelovende biotechnologische processen flink terug te brengen. Zo kunnen we deze proof-of-concept processen opschalen naar compacte, schone en efficiënte industriële toepassingen.
