Living Architecture - Workshop Exhibit

11 November 2022 16:00 till 18:00 | Add to my calendar

In collaboration with the Science Centre Delft, students from the Interactive Environments minor took part in a week-long workshop (7-11 November) led by Philip Beesley and people from his Living Architecture Studio

Beesley’s studio has quite a bit of experience creating large scale interactive environments. And they are trying something new this time at the Science Centre Delft. They have plans to install artwork there that has an open digital interface, which they call a test-bed. You can learn more about their plans here.

Inspired by this, the projects from the Interactive Environments minor will use the potential of this installation to design an ecosystem that explores what the future of interactive exhibits at the Science Centre Delft could be like. The final results from the minor and the artwork will also be on display during Highlight Delft 16-18 February.

Curious about what our students developed? You are invited to explore their work on Friday, 11 November, from 16:00 – 18:00 at the new Science Centre (Van der Burghweg 1, Delft).
