Bachelor's graduation procedure
If you wish to take sub-programmes or subjects outside the regular degree programme, you must have permission (in advance) of the Board of Examiners.
Check your subjects carefully and ensure that the Study Programme Administration (SPA), firstname.lastname@example.org, is correctly informed with regard to your electives.
Registering for the degree audit
Submit your registration for the degree audit no later than 20 working days before the meeting of the Board of Examiners. All requirements must be met no later than five working days before the meeting in question.
You can register for the degree audit by mailing the application forms to email@example.com. The Board of Examiners meets once a month. The date of your last exam will be recorded on your diploma. If you have to wait for a graduation ceremony, you can request a 'transcript of qualifications' from firstname.lastname@example.org. This will be issued if, for example, you have to report to an employer. If you have met all the requirements for your Bachelor's degree but have not yet received your degree certificate, contact email@example.com), to apply to sit Master's exams. The examdesk can enable you to register for the examinations (in Delft). Mind to register for a master's programme via studielink.
5 days after registration
The Study Programme Administration (SPA) will notify you as to whether you meet all the requirements for registration. The Board of Examiners judges the requirements for graduation, the SPA will check if you have any financial obligations.
If you meet all the requirements, you will receive an invitation for the graduation ceremony from TNW student affairs, and you will be asked to indicate the number of people will accompany you.
If you cannot attend the graduation ceremony you can pick up your diploma at the secretariat (building 22, room A216) after the ceremony has taken place. Please set up an appointment for Monday, Tuesday or Thursday between 8.30 and 16.30 by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Terminating your enrolment for Bachelor's/ enrolling for Master's
Note! Make sure you have checked your study programme carefully before you terminate your enrolment.
In accordance with the Higher Education Act (Wet op het hoger onderwijs WHW) you can terminate your enrolment in any month of the year. You can do this after you have passed your last subject and before you receive your degree certificate. No more subjects can be added once your enrolment has been terminated. Enrolling or terminating your enrolment is done via Studielink. For more information on enrolment please look here.
