TU Delft AE Diversity & Inclusion ‘Connect, Inspire and Lead’ networking drinks

Due to circumstances & obligations beyond our & the team of IAWA's control, our Networking Drinks has been rebranded to an AE Diversity & Inclusion Networking Drinks in Delft.

In the context of International Women’s Day we want to bring people together who work on a shared goal of increasing diversity and inclusion in the aerospace sector. The aim is to highlight different angles to approach the subject by an introduction of our Dean, the D&I officer on her vision and committee, the students and how they work on a more diverse and inclusive student community. And of course: two winners of the IAWA scholarship on how they experience their position as women in the aerospace world and how being part of a network such as IAWA helps. This event is for (future) aerospace leaders – of all genders, to share the magic of (more) diversity and inclusion in aerospace.

17.10: Welcome at Aerospace Engineering TU Delft by Dean Henri Werij

17.20: IAWA scholarship winners Margot Winters (2023) and Julia Radius (2019): how do they ‘connect, inspire and lead’?

17.35: James Dunselman of the VSV Diversity Committee: ‘More diversity & inclusion in the sector starts with more diversity & inclusion in the student community.

17.45: Professor Axelle Viré, the current D&I officer at the faculty (and TU Delft) on the activities of the D&I committee and her views on the magic of more diversity and inclusion in our own community and in the workplace.

17:50 – 19.00: Networking Drinks - Meet together in finding your magic in Diversity & Inclusion.
