MasterPlus Optics & Photonics
If you wish to focus your study and your future career on the domain of Optics and Photonics, the MasterPlus Optics & Photonics is for you.
Part of the Physics for Instrumentation track, you will follow 25 EC of electives course on Optics & Photonics, join a project or an internship in a Optics Photonics companies, participate in a summer school on Photonics with our partners and get your Master thesis done in one of the groups of Optics and Photonics at TUDelft.
This MasterPlus is supported by the 4TU (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, TU Twente, and the University of Wageningen), PhotonDelta and many industrial partners via OpticsNetherlands. The programme and all modules are described in detail in the study guide.
Students holding a non-Dutch bachelor and admitted in our master programme and registered to this MasterPlus programme can apply for a relocation contribution designed to support their move to the Netherlands (equivalent to € 2000). It is limited to 15 students. The selection will be based on:
- Academic excellence
- Commitment to the MasterPlus Programme through enrolment in selected courses and engaging in designated activities
- Motivation letter for joining the MasterPlus Programme
Important dates:
- 1 April 2024: application deadline to our Applied Physics programme
- 5 June 2024: application deadline for the relocation grant
- 12 June 2024: result on the selection process communicated to students
- 1 July: payment deadline for tuition fees
- September: payment of relocation grant
