Symposium kicks off 22 Health & Technology projects

Nieuws - 22 september 2021

The convergence between Erasmus University, Erasmus MC and TU Delft is all about breaking barriers between research fields. Within the Open Mind call, young and ambitious researchers get the chance to start a short-term project with a specific mission in the area of Health & Technology. On Friday the 17th of September, the 22 projects took the spotlight to present their projects in a very energetic symposium.

The majority of pitchers gathered at the Frans van Hasselt room at TU Delft, where a tv-studio event booth was created to broadcast online. Chaired by Program Director and enthusiastic presenter Richard Goossens, the audience gained insight into the projects and their main mission to contribute to the Convergence aims. A special thank you goes out to all pitchers for their concise and well balanced pitches, and to the team of TU Delft for their hospitality and support. Now it’s up to the projects to gain results and directions for further research and education, convergence-style. We look forward to hearing about their progress. Please keep an eye on the event calendar for a second Open Mind symposium early 2022!
