Prof. Alessandro Bozzon appointed fellow of Netherlands Academy of Engineering (NAE)
TU Delft | Industrial Design Engineering’s Professor of Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, Alessandro Bozzon, has been appointed as a fellow of the Netherlands Academy of Engineering (NAE).
62 top experts in technology have been selected from the fields of technological sciences, applied research and innovation to engage in NAE’s mission to use technology wisely to realise innovations needed for the sustainable development of our society with widespread access to good healthcare, food, energy, water and housing.
NAE works with national academies of engineering in other countries to represent the Netherlands in an international context and translate foreign insights to the Dutch situation, leading to practical advice.
On Monday, November 13, the inauguration of the 62 fellows will take place in the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague.
Professor Bozzon: “Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the world as we know it, offering vast opportunities, but only if designed holistically with people and society in mind. It’s an honour to be appointed to the Netherlands Academy Engineering. I am looking forward to working with other fellows to help realise the ambition of using technology wisely to help shape a better society.”
