FAST

Funding Ambitious TU Delft Students (FAST) is the grants portal for all students of TU Delft. 

  • Are you planning a study abroad? Or taking part in a challenging research project abroad?
  • Are you planning to participate in a technology and social impact competition? Or are you going to present your own research at a conference?
  • Or are you participating in a competition related to technology and social impact? Or are you going to present your own research at a conference?
  • Or do you have a great impactful idea but no idea if it qualifies for funding?

Researchers

Ir. Henk Westra Fund for Public Housing

TU Delft academic staff of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment can apply for a grant for research costs that cannot be covered by general department resources or project funds. For example for special forms of dissemination (such as videos, web pages, MOOCs, book publication) and/or additional research efforts. Grants are awarded to a maximum of €4.000.

North America Travel Grant for AI PhD candidates

Grant for travel expenses for a (research) stay in North America

With the North America Travel Grant for AI PhD candidates, PhD candidates who are appointed within one of the 24 TU Delft AI Labs from the AI Labs & Talent Programme can apply for travel subsidy for a (research) stay in North America. This subsidy is possible thanks to a donation from alumnus Felix Herrmann.

The travel grants will be assigned in separate calls; one for each round of Delft AI Labs. A grant budget of max. € 4.500 per stay per PhD candidate is available for a stay abroad of 3 - 4 months at a university in the United States of America or Canada. Per call max. three proposals can be granted.
