Reservation system Okku

Starting September 9th all generic study spaces (i.e. non-lab study spaces) in buildings 28 and 36 are available to 2nd year MSc’ students of our faculty. They we kindly ask all EEMCS MSc’s to make a reservation via a new system called Okku. Timely reservation will enable students to choose desks in close proximity to their departments. Reservations facilitate the maximum use of the study spaces, by the largest possible part of our MSc student population, while reducing unnecessary travel to and on campus.
This is how Okku works in a nutshell:

  • Okku shows the available desks in the generic study spaces on floor plans of buildings 28 and 36
  • Each desk has two daily time slots on weekdays for a student to choose from: 08:00-14:45 and 15:00-22:30
  • 2nd yr EEMCS MSc’s can make reservations (one time slot per day, two reservations in advance, max three reservations per week, ad hoc use is excepted)
  • Monitors at the entrances of buildings 28 and 36 show a QR-code to check-in reservations with (no-shows lapse after an hour)
  • Reservations have priority over ad hoc use: all EEMCS MSc’s are required to check real time occupancy via tudelft.okku.io to find a desk available for ad hoc use
  • Okku is managed by FM
  • Actual study space occupation is evaluated monthly by FM, ATP’s, and O&S and will be scaled up when progress of the renovation of building 36 makes this feasible
