Sustainable Labs North West Europe
The first Concept House demonstrates a new way of living and acts as a living lab. Innovative designs and technology can be studied in context by allowing people to stay several days or more in the house.
Goals of the project
- Practice innovations in the built environment: innovative prototype housing, construction elements, techniques and sustainable materials, new applications for public areas, process innovation and forms of collaboration
- Examine sustainable behaviour in the built environment
- Study the effect of the building process on current and future users (residents), clients and other stakeholders
