Faculty Library

Study areas

The Library of Architecture offers various study places:

  • Study areas without screen
  • Study places with monitor to connect your laptop
  • Study places with PC on which you can log in with your NetID
  • Study areas with PC containing extra programmes needed for studying Architecture

The collection of books is arranged by subject. You can borrow them with a campus card at the self-service station. More information on searching for and borrowing books can be found here. If you have any questions, please visit the information desk.

The entire TU Delft Library collection can be accessed through the online catalogue, and can be searched by author, publisher, title keywords, location codes, etc.

Physical magazines are arranged alphabetically by title and are on the top floor of the Library. These are not on loan, but you can view them in the Library and copy or scan them if necessary.

You can access the digital collection (including e-books and e-journals) with your Net ID (also possible from home).

There are various databases specifically dedicated to information about the field of Architecture.

You can also view loose-leaf works, reference works and old, historically important books (before 1900) in the Library. If they are not too precious or fragile, these materials can also be copied or scanned.

The map room  is located on the top floor of the Library and is open every day from  9.00 – 13.00.

New books can be viewed on the acquisitions table. If you want to loan them, you can place a reservation. You will be notified when you can loan the book.

In the Library, you can print (A4 and A3), copy (colour and black and white) and scan using your campus card. You can top up your credit via the Xerox portal using iDeal and credit cards (Mastercard, VISA and Maestro). More information on how to use the printers can be found here.
