Kick-off meeting

The master’s thesis project starts with a kick-off meeting to make mutual agreements, to plan and to discuss your thesis project in more detail.

During the kick-off meeting, together with your supervisor, you:

• Discuss the content and scope of your project.
• Discuss and record the most important criteria and dates for milestones: first stage review, greenlight review and thesis defence. Make sure that you are both aware of the study load capacity of the student and availability of the supervisor.
• Discuss deliverables at midterm/literature/first stage review
• Discuss potential thesis committee members

After the kick-off meeting, you update MaRe with the agreements made and supervisors involved.
