Composition thesis committee

Three months before the planned thesis defence, the student, together with the responsible professor (thesis adviser) compiles a definite thesis committee and sends the corresponding form in for approval to the Board of Examiners.

From November 1 2020 onwards the rules regarding the composition of the thesis committee has been changed slightly: instead of three core members, the committee only needs two core members (three is still an option). For more detailed information see the thesis committee form and article 28 of the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Examiners. You can find the form here.

The necessary forms for graduation have to be handed in according to the schedule below.
At this point your Individual Exam Programme (IEP) should already have been approved by the Board of Examiners. When you do not adhere to the deadlines it means that you cannot graduate on the requested defence date.
