Looking beyond science and technology

Future engineers will be expected to have much more than just a solid knowledge of, and skills in, science and technology. Therefore communication and collaboration are essential parts of engineering in the 21st century. It raises the quality of your work and increases your employability. If you love science and engineering and want to make them work in practice, and you like working with people, then the Communication Design for Innovation track is ideal for you. 

Master's Programme

The Communication Design for Innovation track provides you with the knowledge and skills to design and optimize strategic communication processes within and between organisations and society. As such, you contribute to the quality of new and emerging science and technology, by attuning innovations to societal demands. The courses within the Communication Design for Innovation track teach you to look at professional communication practices from a scientific perspective. You learn how to study, design and participate in effective and accurate communication between different stakeholders, ranging from other scientific experts to representatives from industry, policymakers and the general public.
