Lezing: How will we co-create a shared future?

Op 28 mei geeft Aleksandar Staničić de lezing ‘How will we co-create a shared future?’.

Quest for building inclusive and democratic built environments is not possible without acknowledging the plurality of material cultures and understanding intricate relations between various actors. Finding the “common ground” as a cornerstone of a shared future, therefore, rests on co-creation of shared cultural and social values. To tackle these urgent issues, Aleksandar will introduce one line of research that he plans to take forward at TU Delft, which falls on the intersection between material cultures, meaning-making and participatory design, as well as conflict, media and heritage studies. He will present results of his recently finished Marie Curie postdoctoral project “Transurbicide”, whose goal was to develop new (digital) tools and methods for investigation of dynamics of co-creation in complex post-conflict social and urban settings, taking as a case study the post-war reconstruction of Belgrade after the 1999 NATO bombing.
