Op 23 juni vindt het evenement ' Delft Design for Diversity Thesis Award' plaats in de Berlagezaal.
DIVERSITEIT, GELIJKHEID en INCLUSIE behoren tot de belangrijkste maatschappelijke waarden die de TU Delft voorop stelt in onderwijs en onderzoek. Diversiteit is een pijler van goede wetenschap en epistemologische rechtvaardigheid.
Epistemological justice aims to challenge dominant epistemic frameworks and perspectives, while valuing and including diverse ways of knowing, marginalised voices, and underrepresented knowledge. Epistemological justice means that knowledge is more robust and innovative when it is produced from a multitude of worldviews, perspectives, and experiences.
Come celebrate and discuss Diversity Equity and Inclusion with us on FRIDAY 23 JUN at 16:00 at BOUWKUNDE (Berlagezaal 1) at the Delft Design for Diversity Thesis Award, when nine TU Delft alumni from BK, TBM, IO and Computer Sciences will present their ideas for diversity in several areas of research. Alumni will present their research ideas in short pitches, emphasizing DE&I and new perspectives on research at TU Delft.
