HBO degree

Applicants holding an HBO Chemical Engineering or HBO Chemical Technology degree from a Dutch university of applied sciences are eligible for admission after completing a bridging programme. This bridging programme is taught in Dutch.

Admission to this bridging programme is subject to strict criteria, based predominantly on the results obtained during the HBO degree. It is open only to students:

  • with a GPA equal to or higher than 7.5
  • with no study delay
  • who meet the Admission requirements with a degree of a Dutch university of applied sciences.

Steps to take upon meeting the above requirements:

1.    Follow the TU Delft general application procedure. 

Send the following information to the Programme Coordinator: 

2.    An application form for the bridging programme
3.    A copy of your study progress report or a copy of your transcript
