MSc. Brink, N. van den

Noa is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering exploring how we can design digital technology to support the healthy lifestyle of young families in vulnerable situations. She is interested in how values of families and stakeholders in the social and medical care system around them can play a role in the development of such technologies.

Academic Background

During her bachelor and master in Industrial Design at the Technical University of Eindhoven, she discovered her passion to design for health, well-being and equity in complex societal challenges through participatory approaches. Her projects mainly targeted socially marginalized and vulnerable groups like people with dementia, young pregnant women and youngsters with debts.

In her PhD she now continues to pursue how we may co-design technologies with vulnerable groups and stakeholders around them to work towards health and wellbeing.
