Dr. Kim, D.

Dajung Kim is a Postdoc at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Her research focuses on investigating the role of design in the development of AI-powered systems for health and well-being. She is particularly interested in exploring alternative forms of human-AI relationships through critical design research to inform the design of future AIs worth wanting.

Academic Background

Dajung Kim holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Design from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Her doctoral research focused on building human-agent partnerships for personalized, evolving user experiences in intelligent systems. Prior to her current position, she was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology and researched ethics and aesthetics in human-AI interaction.
