Artificial intelligence is transforming our world. How might human-centered design help ensure AI transformations promote wellbeing for all? To envision this future of "AI for Wellbeing", Willem is exploring how human-centered design methods can develop prototype AI systems aligned with humanistic values.
The main question underlying his research is: How can we translate between human-centered values and the computational metrics required for AI systems?
