Testimonial Tobias Datema

I followed this minor in 2023 as a student of Mathematics and I found it a very interesting and fun program. Especially the capstone project at the second half of the minor was a very cool experience, which even lead to our project group writing a paper together (this paper is yet to be finished at the time of writing). 

In our project we worked with training neural networks to drive cars in a simulated environment, it was a lot of fun and very interesting to see how different approaches lead to different ways of driving for the AI controlled cars!

The course "introduction to machine learning" was also very interesting to follow, and gave a good and global understanding of various aspects of machine learning.

All in all I would highly reccomend this minor to anyone interested in or curious about working with AI!
