On the 26th of Februari Charlotte Kemp graduated with her research project on MRI-guided interventions. In collaboration with Soteria Medical and Radboud UMC Charlotte was able to create a new 3D printed MRI-guided intervention system.
Charlotte's research was aimed on medical procedures that are guided by the MRI. Currently such medical procedures are manually performed by the surgeon. Charlotte's work helps in the automation of these procedures. The complete driver system is 3D printed, to enable customization towards specific procedures and fulfill the demand of using non-ferrous materials.
