Gubing Wang  is a PhD student at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Her main research interest is integrating technologies into healthcare systems, and her PhD project is on improving dementia care in nursing homes using IoT technologies and co-design. 

Academic Background

Gubing Wang holds an MEng and BEng in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London. After a one-year experience in developing drug delivery devices as an intern in GlaxoSmithKline, she develops an interest in the front-end of the design process. At IDE, she is exploring the challenge for design researchers in healthcare nowadays, that is, to establish the best ways to design using new technologies in the interest of people.
